You Are Never Too Old (or Young) to Start A Workout Routine!

Adam AND Carter

Have you ever thought about starting a workout routine, but then had second thoughts?  Maybe I’m too old to start, Maybe I am too young?  How about you just start!  At any age, at any time, START!  If your health is ailing, then consult your doctor prior to exercise, but something as simple as walking is a great way to get going!

Depending on what part of the country you live in, weather can be a factor.  So before the cold weather hits New England, make a commitment to get started!  I promise you it will be the best decision you make!  Just a leisurely walk can do wonders for your health.  Elevate your heart rate, and your mood!  Feeling wonderful comes naturally once endorphins are released from the brain.  Exercise is not just good for you physically, but mentally as well!

Challenge yourself!  Depending on your level of fitness, I recommend trying new things!  Now I don’t recommend flipping 200 lb tires in your back yard, but I do believe you can start lifting light and work those muscles!  As your activity increases, so will your strength.  Once you are feeling ready, up those weights (as long as your form doesn’t suffer) and continue to work towards your goals!

If you need any help, or want to find some accessories, or weights to get started, come visit us either online or in store and we will help get you on your way!

Here is to a new and healthier you!
